To support our commitment to keeping children healthy, the LIFE Education Trust has set up a new initiative within their rural primary schools to include weekly sporting competitions. We’re delighted that Roxwell Primary school are the first to try out the weekly competitions, which will help to encourage children to exercise every day and see that it can be fun and enjoyable.

The children will take part in short competitions which will involve jumping, running, catch, throwing and skipping.

Even a little exercise everyday has been proven to improve people’s well-being and mental health.

These weekly competitions are organised by the Sports Prefect and the House Captains, outdoors in C19 safe bubbles.

Our Sports Prefect Ella stated, ‘I think sport is going to keep our pupils healthy.’

The children continue to enjoy the activities weekly.
