The theme for this year’s Earth Day was “Restore Our Earth” which focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world’s ecosystems. With that in mind Roxwell celebrated Earth Day by taking care of their little areas of ‘earth’ around their school.
The children re-designed the front of the school by planting lots of new plants and flowers which they are hoping will attract lots of lovely butterflies and insects. They also introduced a new compost bin so they can use natural waste and put it back into the earth!
